Mr. Hern joined TCG in September 2011 as a Senior Consultant. He will be active in various roles throughout the firm including valuation services, M&A advisory, litigation support, and other specialized financial services.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Hern worked in the investment banking division of FIG Partners, providing investment banking services to community financial institutions. While at FIG Partners, Mr. Hern assisted in advising community banks on strategic options, capital planning, mergers and bank valuations. Other responsibilities included banking industry research, due diligence and fairness opinion work.
Before commencing his MBA studies, David received a B.S. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology with certificates in Accounting and Finance. Currently, David holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in the state of Georgia as well as the Series 7 and 63 licenses.
